Washing and usage precautions:

 Esdal should be hand washed for the first time in cold water.
Then, it should be machine washed using a laundry bag and a gentle spin cycle.
Do not use a dryer.
Do not shorten or tighten the drape until after three washes.
To keep Esdal flat without ironing, it should be dried and hung up immediately after washing, then hung up after use.
